By accessing and using Uddham Bazar (the Platform), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this service.

These terms apply to all users of the Platform, including sellers, buyers, organizations, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

Uddham Bazar is a listing-only marketplace platform that connects sellers with potential buyers. The Platform allows users to:

  • Create and manage product/service listings
  • Browse and search for products and services
  • Contact sellers directly through provided contact information
  • Save listings to wishlists for future reference

Important: Uddham Bazar does not facilitate payments between buyers and sellers. Transactions occur directly between the involved parties.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for account activity
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized account use

4. Listing Guidelines

All listings must:

  • Be legal to sell in Nepal
  • Be accurate and not misleading
  • Use images that represent the product/service accurately
  • Include clear pricing when applicable
  • Include valid contact information
  • Avoid duplicate or spam listing behavior

We may remove any listing that violates these rules or is deemed inappropriate.

5. Prohibited Content

The following content is prohibited:

  • Illegal products or services
  • Counterfeit or stolen goods
  • Weapons, drugs, or controlled substances
  • Adult or explicit content
  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content
  • Hate or discriminatory content
  • Spam or unsolicited commercial messages

6. Fees and Payments

Listing fees are structured as follows:

  • Organization members with available points: free (using organization point allocation)
  • Individual sellers: annual listing fee (including VAT)
  • Returning listings may receive discounted renewal pricing

Fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise and may change with prior notice.

7. Organization Accounts

Organizations can purchase point packages for members. Points allow members to create listings without individual payment. Organizations are responsible for:

  • Managing member accounts
  • Monitoring point usage and allocation
  • Ensuring members comply with these terms
  • Renewing packages before expiration

8. Limitation of Liability

Uddham Bazar acts solely as a platform to connect buyers and sellers. We do not:

  • Guarantee listing accuracy
  • Verify quality of products or services
  • Participate in or guarantee transactions
  • Accept liability for disputes between users

Users engage in transactions at their own risk.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Platform.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted indicates acceptance of those changes.
